The third Erasmus + program meeting in Zalamea de la Serena in Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain, has been successfully completed since 26 / 05-01 / 06/2019.
The cultivation of cooperation and communication between the participants continued and widened. Moreover, this is the way to attribute through the actions and innovation the basic principle of the specific Erasmus + program.
Our small school has always managed to meet the needs of such a European program with absolute success. Understanding culture, different perceptions, and broadening the horizons really causes thoughts and an inevitable comparison between our own education system and those of partner countries.
By seeing that the human potential of our teachers and of course our students is excellent, we assimilate the good practices we meet and always aim at the best with great success.
Beneficial benefits are first and foremost for our students, since through the participation of our School in the program they learned aspects of history, geography and culture of foreign countries, cultivated linguistic and social skills, felt self-confident as small citizens of this world. They shape the culture they will need in the future as European citizens.
A little more detailed about the program:
The Primary School of Spili participates for the first time in a two-year (2018-2020) program "Erasmus + KA2" / "Strategic Partnerships" entitled "Wiem, skad jestem", "I know where I am". The countries participating in the program are Poland, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Spain and, of course, Greece. So the third trip to Spain, namely IES Antonio de Nebrija (High School), took place from 26/05 to 01/06/2019.
The reception was enthusiastic and extremely warm and through the music of the reception we felt the joy of being a citizen of this world.
The school is very well equipped in all areas and in the building and technological and with many teachers.
We were also given the opportunity to tour historic, archaeological sites and venues that are also relevant to the program's themes.
Along with the training, evaluation and future planning meetings were held for the second year of the program until the next mobility in October 2019 in Hungary.
We particularly thank the parents who trusted their children, and our fellow teachers have taken care of our school's flawless functioning in our absence. Without their help, the visit could not have taken place.
Next stop in Hungary next October!
