Erasmus project at Primary School in Jamki-Korzonek, Poland during the covid pandemic

 Here are the most important things we did in our school during the last year of the project, during the strange time of the covid pandemic - September 2020 - June 2021: 

- participation of students in a folk song competition

- preparation and publication of Christmas carols from partner countries

- preparation of a movie with Christmas greetings for students from partner schools

- exchange of virtual Christmas cards with greetings

- presentation of our traditional customs and dishes



- online workshops on cultural heritage and its importance conducted by trainers of the Regional Methodological Center in Częstochowa

- Easter in Poland 



- fairy tales and legends interpreted by students in the form of a comic book

- old musical instruments used in Poland and Europe



- learning about Polish folk costumes



- wreath weaving workshops related to the tradition of "sobótka", which comes from the old Slavic beliefs



- "krakowiak" workshops, one of the popular Polish national dances

Here we are! :-) Starting our Erasmus+ partnership we had to do a lot. In this month September we invited students connecting to our project, and informed parents. Each school made a poster to present the subject of our partnership. We were working on our LOGO too! Photos later.... :-)

Our Erasmus project during the covid pandemic

 I remember March 2020, then everyone began to realize that covid is not a virus in a distant Asian country, but a threat to the whole world. Shock in Europe. Closing borders, canceling travel abroad, lockdown, isolation, fear, illness, death ... How to live, learn, work and implement projects in all of this? It was not easy ... However, decisions had to be made. How to continue the project, what about the missed trips? The solution was to extend the project for one year. We did so, we asked the National Agency to extend the project for one year. We got a positive answer. Therefore, we were facing another year of cooperation, joint activities and hope that we would be able to implement the two remaining mobilities. September 2020, the next school year started. Unfortunately, the pandemic continued, another wave of covid arrived. We tried to continue our cooperation. It turned out that life had moved to the Internet.
