Our Erasmus project during the covid pandemic

I remember March 2020, then everyone began to realize that covid is not a virus in a distant Asian country, but a threat to the whole world.

Shock in Europe. Closing borders, canceling travel abroad, lockdown, isolation, fear, illness, death ...

How to live, learn, work and implement projects in all of this?

It was not easy ...

However, decisions had to be made. How to continue the project, what about the missed trips?

The solution was to extend the project for one year. We did so, we asked the National Agency to extend the project for one year. We got a positive answer. Therefore, we were facing another year of cooperation, joint activities and hope that we would be able to implement the two remaining mobilities.

September 2020, the next school year started. Unfortunately, the pandemic continued, another wave of covid arrived.

We tried to continue our cooperation. It turned out that life had moved to the Internet. Online meetings, carrying out tasks, exchanging experiences and activities online.

May 2021; situation still uncertain about covid. We did not know if we would be able to complete the two remaining mobilities, to Italy and Poland. Hence the decision to organize virtual mobilities (you can read about them in an earlier post).

End of June. The project is coming to an end - it ends on August 31. The covid situation improved. There were opportunities for trips abroad. Hotline between coordinators from partner schools. Decision - we would organize mobilities.

Joy and excitement, but also sadness, because two of the partner schools (from Greece and Spain) could not take part in the physical mobilities.

Nevertheless, we decided to organize these two physical mobilities - to Italy in July and to Poland in August (information about these mobility will be available soon on our blog). In order not to lose formally the virtual mobilities in which all partner schools participated, and which were very valuable to us, because we conducted many interesting, enriching activities, we decided to do mixed mobilities (combination of virtual and physical mobility).

Today, when these mobilities are behind us, we can say that it was a very good decision.

Virtual mobilities in Italy and Poland - online meetings, virtual trips and sightseeing, a lot of interesting tasks and activities, joy of overcoming covid restrictions and doing something good and positive.

Physical mobilities in Italy and Poland - real meetings of students and teachers, joint activities, workshops, trips, walks, meals. A great, unforgettable time, wonderful experiences, beautiful memories.

THANK YOU THE BEST PARTNERS 💗

Here we are! :-) Starting our Erasmus+ partnership we had to do a lot. In this month September we invited students connecting to our project, and informed parents. Each school made a poster to present the subject of our partnership. We were working on our LOGO too! Photos later.... :-)

PRIMARY SCHOOL OF SPILI AT ZALAMEA DE LA SERENA SPAIN

The third Erasmus + program meeting in Zalamea de la Serena in Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain, has been successfully completed since 26 / 05-01 / 06/2019. The cultivation of cooperation and communication between the participants continued and widened. Moreover, this is the way to attribute through the actions and innovation the basic principle of the specific Erasmus + program. Our small school has always managed to meet the needs of such a European program with absolute success. Understanding culture, different perceptions, and broadening the horizons really causes thoughts and an inevitable comparison between our own education system and those of partner countries. By seeing that the human potential of our teachers and of course our students is excellent, we assimilate the good practices we meet and always aim at the best with great success. Beneficial benefits are first and foremost for our students, since through the participation of our School in the program they lear
